Fırat (1995, Turkey) studied film at Kadir Has University in Istanbul and has focused on hybrid narratives and forms.

His first short film, The Banquet, was screened at the Sarajevo Film Festival in 2019. His experimental short Things I Don't Remember has screened in many installations internationally. He is the co-founder of the production company Luna.

KAVUR, his debut feature, made its world premiere at IFFR 2023.
